The first shot was great -- Nice use of (I assume) the VCam -- the irregular motion helped give the impression of a war zone or wartime footage. As stick animations go, this one was well made and interesting, but the plot left something to be desired.

"cutting edge"

well, that was a bit of a pun, but I DID really like your use of slicing motion and then the fact that many of the slices rejoined in different and interesting ways - also, it was not predictable, which is always good -- keep the audience guessing. I didn't even realize it was spelling "end" until the moment before the "d" formed (and no, I didn't mean "deformed," though I suppose that describes a lot of the shapes)

cool concept, and I might suggest making one that was a bit longer but "along the same lines" (aah, again with the puns - lol) - oh, and the music was good.

I must admit I didn't get all the references, though there were at least three or four quotes I'd heard before - my favorite was the one from Crank - lol. But yeah - funny stuff - I actually did laugh out loud a number of times and it wasn't forced, so bravo!!

AWESOME, my friend - I'm lucky to have had a sneak preview of this, seriously - congrats on the front page!! I love the suspense and action both - you NAILED it! - or as you'd say, "That's tight, man"

funny stuff, man - But I will say this: Unless this was a stylistic choice, I would have made the backgrounds more detailed, or at least a little more readable. For example, the scene on the beach to me looked like he was floating in a yellow sky by a wave, so if you made it more like a sand color and put him at an angle, that could help the readability. Still, it got the point across overall - bread cancer lol.

Timing was good, but animation could be better

I think the fact that it's short and punctual makes it funny, but as far as animation is concerned, try to line up the lip movement better and maybe add some kind of background. At the moment, it looks a little bit primitive.

Interesting concept - could be built upon

I found the concept interesting, but I think it could use a lot of improvement. I know you said it was a quick drawing, but as others were saying, maybe take it to a new level, or make a new one that is a longer drawing. I think if you added more detail and maybe some cool music it could be a very successful animation.

Original, but could use improvement

I'm a fan of the music, and the graphics are okay (I imagine you used a mouse rather than a tablet, but nice use of gradient) - I think others are right in saying it could use a voice-over, and if you just fixed a few of the glitchy sections, it might flow better.

I liked the mystical story and style, however - very much like an old legend or folk tale.

Edgy and Effective

I'm not sure why others didn't get your message - pretty straightforward if you ask me, and it's got some nice social commentary. I could tell the focus of the animation was not so much visual as meaningful, but I think the animation was adequate for your purposes. Still, there were parts, especially when it zoomed in, that could've been done better.

The combo of animation/images and animation/video was pretty successful. I found the whole thing funny and inspiring! - great voice, btw.
